Daniel Mar, a talented paper artist was born 13 April 1952 in France. Daniel uses shadow boxes and vibrant backgrounds and its makes his paper cutting art pieces outsatnding. Since the age of 15 he was interested in photography, but it was just a hobby. To the art of paper cutting Daniel Mar came rather late, in his 50-s, though he worked previously with paper as a medium, in order to make frames for his photographic images. His current artistic approach, where each piece is unique, now he use the white paper as a material able to be cut, folded or glued to build a fragile and improbable world, poetic and metaphorical.
